The core sessions in the Mini-Rotation are organized around four themes. For each session, Tufts Health Care Institute (THCI) recruited an expert presenter, typically a health care system leader or manager—some physicians, some other health care professionals, as appropriate.
For each session listed below, you can download and view the following materials:
An overview that:
identifies THCI’s faculty,
states the learning objectives, and
provides an outline of the presentation;
A copy of the speaker’s slides; and
A video of the presentation (for selected sessions).
(Please note that the faculty presenters may no longer hold the same position as listed in these materials. For more recent job titles, see Acknowledgements.)
As you identify expert faculty to address a given topic, you can share these materials as a starting point for their own presentations. Your faculty should develop their own talking points, update data they wish to include on local and/or national trends, and incorporate relevant information about their organizations.
You may want to assign some background reading and materials to your residents or students as an introduction to the topics. Note that the materials provided on this website were prepared specifically for the THCI course, to be delivered by their author, and the presentations often include information about the author’s organization; their content also reflects trends and developments at the time they were prepared.
